Friends of Pusch Ridge Golf will participate in the Town's 50th Anniversary parade on April 6th to show our enthusiasm for this milestone celebration!

Parade date: Saturday, April 6th, 2024
Parade route: Starts at Ironwood Ridge High School, traveling east on Naranja Dr., and ends at the Oro Valley Library—approximately 1.75 miles.
Parade is rain or shine. Cancellations only occur when the weather poses a risk to public safety to major event operations.
Timeline:
7:00 am - 8:00 am: Parade Staging
PLEASE be at the staging area no later than 8:00 am. (FOPRG organizers will be at the staging area by 7:00 am.)
The staging area is at Ironwood Ridge High School in the WEST parking lot. (2475 W Naranja Dr, Oro Valley, AZ 85742.) Entry to the parking lot will only be allowed from the Shannon Road access.
No parking is allowed in the staging area. Parking is available at the Town Hall parking lot (11000 N La Canada Dr.) or the Community and Recreation Center parking lot (10555 N La Canada Dr.)
Please consider carpooling and have a driver drop you off at the staging area.
Once in the staging area - Look for the large Friends banners to join us! As a group, we will be proudly parading behind these banners!
9:00 am: Parade Begins
The parade starts at 9:00 am sharp. No exceptions.
FAQ's
Will coffee, water, or food be available at the staging area?
No. Please come prepared with your coffee, water, breakfast, and snacks.
Are there public restrooms accessible at the staging area?
Yes. Portable restrooms will be available for parade participants to use.
Can we throw candy or anything else to the spectators?
No. This is a significant safety issue, and any entry that violates this rule will be removed from the parade route immediately.
What should we wear?
We encourage golfing attire of your choice, including Friends of Pusch Ridge hats or Pusch Ridge golf shirts! The parade is in honor of the Town's 50th Anniversary. If you want to intertwine that theme into your golf outfit, go for it!
What else should we bring?
Feel free to bring your pull cart, clubs, or anything else that spectators will associate with 'golf.' Feel free to decorate your golf accessories to make it fun for the spectators.
