Welcome to Women's Tuesday Morning Golf with The Quails
If you are looking for a women’s league with the opportunity to play friendly competitive rounds with women of a similar skill set, this is your league.
The Quails is a 30+ year old women’s golf league whose home course is Pusch Ridge. The Quails play every Tuesday throughout the year at Pusch when the course is open and at the El Conquistador courses over the summer if Pusch is closed. Currently the league is enjoying a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
Although play with The Quails is handicapped, the league is geared to be a fun, social experience for all ages and abilities, even as we compete with each other on a weekly basis with a different game each week. Membership is capped at 60 members, with an average of 30-45 playing each week.
Membership requires club dues to The Quails of $40/year and membership in the Arizona Golf Association
(AGA) currently $45. Quails members establish a handicap when initially joining the league as a prospective member and that handicap is maintained weekly by the AGA as play is recorded by each handicapped player on the AGA site. Previous handicaps are not required to join The Quails.

Once your application is received you will be contacted by the membership committee of The Quails. Membership is not automatic, as each prospective member is asked to play five (5) initial rounds with current members to make sure the league is a good fit for all and to establish a starting handicap. During the league’s official season, November 1 through April 30, a play of the day (POD) keeps play interesting. All handicapped members can participate and win prize money each week with good POD results. Greens fee for league play at Pusch Ridge is only $26 plus tax for a 9-hole round, which includes a cart. $24 plus tax if you want to walk.
Sign Up for Weekly Play
The Quails, like all of the Pusch Ridge leagues, use Golf Genius for weekly registration for play. Once your application has been accepted you will be entered into Golf Genius and receive weekly invitations to play from the system. For each week that you would like to play, just sign up before 5 p.m. Sunday and you're good to go for Tuesday’s round.
View Pairings and Tee Assignments
You will be randomly assigned to a group each week. By Monday morning the pairings committee will send out a tee sheet with hole and partner assignments as well as the Play of the Day. They will also handle any last minute changes that may arise.
