Our beautiful golf course is under the tender loving care of Indigo Golf and is scheduled to open to the public on November 1! The fairways are greening up, the greens were well maintained all summer and the cart paths are being edged and repaired. Oh - and the views never change - always magnificent!
More good news! We will have a beverage cart, beer and wine in the pro shop and a porta potty on hole number 6 this year! How exciting is that??
Our three leagues are all set to resume: Mixed Casual on November 2, Women's Group on November 3 and Men’s Group on November 7! Each league will receive emails from their league managers.
Now the SUPER GOOD NEWS - registration is now open for our opening celebration event on October 31! Here are the details:
Two shotguns: 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Each shotgun will be limited to 48 players.
Celebrations and box lunches at the Hilton El Conquistador’s Last Territory: 11:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Cash Bar will be available at lunch
Cost for golf is $45.00, which includes lunch and one drink ticket for the beverage cart or pro shop
Lunch alone is $25.00
Prizes will be awarded for both shotguns:
Longest Drive for men and women
Closest to the Pin for men and women
Lowest foursome score
Highest foursome score
Best Halloween Costumes
Mulligans will be sold - $5.00 each - one per golfer - remember to bring your cash!!
You will have the opportunity to buy a “pro-drive” on one hole to help improve your score
After you register and three days before the event, we will email registrants more details about arrival times, parking, etc.
BUT WAIT - THERE IS MORE!!
We are selling hole sponsorships. We already have six, plus a donor that is paying for the sponsor signage on each hole! Our friend Laura Baldwin is championing this effort. Please contact her at Laurasellsaz22@gmail.com or Anna Bifano at annabifano73@gmail.com if you want to sponsor a hole. We are looking for fun and creativity - for example, Cynthia Starkweather-Nelson will feature her artwork on hole number five and give out trick or treats! Our community is full of talent - this is YOUR chance to showcase your business and support Friends of Pusch Ridge Golf.
We also looking for volunteers to help with the event with a variety of assignments. Please contact Carolyn Weinig at cweinig@icloud.com for details and come join in the fun!
