Friends 2022-2023 Marketing Plan

This summer, the Friend’s Board developed our 2022-2023 marketing plan designed to help capitalize on the successful 2021-2022 year. The plan aims to gain repeat customers, secure new customers, and establish loyalty to the Pusch Ridge experience through the game of golf and a sense of community.

The Friends’ marketing plan is NOT intended to replace the Town’s and Indigo Golf’s business/marketing plan. It was created to be a complimentary marketing plan fulfilling our own commitment to encourage, host and support golf play, while generating revenue.

Last week, the Friend’s Board presented our marketing plan to the Town/Indigo. We are excited to start discussions with the Town/Indigo to review and refine the plan.

Our Friends will have plenty of volunteer opportunities to help implement the plan. Once it is ‘approved,’ we will reach out to you to solicit your help and support.

Recently, Jim Horn (host of the Oro Valley Podcast) interviewed Tony D’Angelo (FOPRG President.) During the interview they discussed and reviewed the marketing plan. To find out more about the plan, click on the links below.

Remember - friends don’t let friends golf alone.

Let Your Voices be Heard - O.V. Survey to Improve Recreational Programs

The Town of Oro Valley is working to broaden and improve access to recreational programs for seniors, and they need our help! An online survey is available now through September 30 that asks for public input on the type of programming that is of greatest interest to Oro Valley residents ages 55 and older.

The survey, spearheaded by the Oro Valley Senior Programming Task Force, asks questions about the level of interest and participation in various activities and how much cost and transportation factor into participation. The survey will also ask about demographic information. The Parks and Recreation Department will use the survey results as they work to develop more robust senior programming.

Red the article about the survey HERE.
