During the February 7, 2024 Oro Valley Town Council meeting, the Council voted to keep the Pusch Ridge golf course open!!
The Chamber’s meeting room was jam-packed with Friends, with only a few empty seats left. Seventeen people spoke and explained why they felt the course should remain open during the call to audience session.
We thank ALL our Friends who attended the meeting, spoke during the meeting, or sent emails to the Council.
We would also like to thank the Town Council, Indigo Golf, and the Town staff for their amazing dedication and working collaboratively with the Friends.
The last two and a half years have been a positive demonstration of what can happen when a group of people join forces for a common goal. The Board and Advisors of the Friends of Pusch Ridge Golf aim to keep the momentum going and continue to make this 9-hole desert gem a quality, viable Town asset to be enjoyed by all.
